Transdimensional Disturber a.k.a. Trans D Gun

Well now, there are weapons, and there are WEAPONS! The Transdimensional Disturber, also known as the "Trans D" gun after a little rOckaliEn tweakage (aka rOckdisturber), is one of the most versatile and deadliest weapons in your arsenal.

This weapon can wipe out everything in its wake, including a Leviathan or a fully armored sentinel, with one shot! The trick is, you've got to know how to use it. This is sometimes easier said than done. The Trans D gun will kill the player firing it just as quickly as his enemies if he isn't patient and careful when firing it.

The trick is aiming, and timing.

Here is how it's done-

First, pick up the Trans D gun at the weapon locker it is located at. Usually, but not always, it will be located in a base weapon locker. They can be found at specific spawn locations around some of the maps as well.

The primary left-click fire will shoot out the Transdimensional Ball, and the right-click alt-fire will shoot out the red energy beam. The alt-fire's energy beam alone is a VERY weak weapon, practically useless when used alone. It only works well when used in conjuction with the "ball".

The "ball" is usually aimed in a way that it floats nearby and rolls in a line past the target, not directly at it the target. For example, to destroy a sentinel, you would hide behind cover in a place the sentinel can't hit you, then fire the ball in a line that goes near, but not directly at the sentinel. The reason is this- the ball itself can kill and destroy players and light vehicles by itself, but alone, it's not nearly as effective damaging a sentinel as are the "bolts" that shoot out of the ball when using the alt-fire beam combo. A sentinel has between 700 and 1000 hitpoints, very hard to kill with ordinary weapons. And if you stick your neck out in a way the sentinel can hit you, or try to aim it directly at the sentinel, you'll be dead before being able to use the alt-fire combo that makes the Trans D gun so special.

Primary Fire-

When the red beam is fired INTO THE CENTER of the moving primary fire's "ball", it will shoot out ultra-destructive red energy bolts at any and all enemy objects withing range. It can destroy multiple targets with one pass. This is the weapon of choice for destroying enemy sentinels from behind a protective cover.

Alt-fire the red beam into the core of the Trans D Ball-

When using the combo, the red beam must be fired continuously, and fired directly into the center of the Ball-

When used effectively, this is the result. An Ion Plasma Tank, a Manta, Two Noderunners, and a Leviathan totally destoyed with one shot-

And last but not least, this is what happens if the alt-fire beam is fired to soon when the ball is still to close to the player firing it. This is where the "patience" factor comes into play-
